Oliver Westbrook: National Champion!

We’re delighted to share that Oliver Westbrook won the Lexus Junior National Championships U14 Boys doubles, with his partner Kamran. The second seeds in the event, they won the final 6-2 2-6 10-8, with a clutch end to the match tiebreak. He was unable to repeat in the singles, reaching the round of 16, but becoming a national champion is an incredible achievement.

It was a great week for Bucks with 7 other players joining Oliver in qualifying for the event, a number that shows the spread of talent across the age groups in Bucks. Well done to Ronnie Gogol, Oliver Settle, Charles Mehta, Theo Whibley, Gracie Tickler, Scarlet Gogol and Papaya Douvall. Earlier in the year Shravanti Venkatakrishnan and Charlie Harvey competed in the 18&U event.
