Jemima is talking to two former Bucks junior players about their junior tennis journey, Grand Slam and Bucks Tennis experiences.
Barney Smith (Texas A&M, studying Sports management). Barney represented Bucks throughout the junior age groups and has played for the men's county team since 2013. He has represented Great Britain in the prestigious 18&U summer cup. Barney competed in all four junior Grand Slam events and reached the main draw at Wimbledon and the Australian Open. He has played in all four junior Grand Slams and topped the US doubles college rankings last year.
Jack Molloy (University of California, studying Economics). Jack has also represented Bucks in all of the age groups and now competes in the Bucks mens team. Along with Barney he has represented Great Britain in 14 - 18&Under age groups partnering Barney in doubles. Jack competed in the main draw at the Junior Australian Open and played in the qualifying rounds at Junior Wimbledon. Jack reached a ranking high of 59 in the university rankings in 2020.
